Technip Energies (PARIS:TE) and COS Petrogaz(1) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate in the fields of LNG, carbon-free energy solutions and decarbonization, in order to accelerate Senegal’s gas development and support a fair and equitable energy transition.

By spurring investment in energy, Africa can address both energy poverty and food security.

The African Energy Chamber (AEC) is pleased to announce it will co-host a series of dialogues focusing on the energy transition in the oil and gas industry with the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI).

H.E. Didier Budimbu Ntubuanga met with AEC Executive Chairman NJ Ayuk in Luanda whereby the two parties agreed to work together to secure more investment to kickstart the DRC’s energy development.

The Memorandum of Understanding will see both entities working together on the creation of a pan-African energy bank.

The webinar will take place on 31 May 2022 (16:00 GMT) under the theme, “Africa – What could be (The Billion Dollar/Barrels Question).

Bringing together Africa’s energy players and international investors, the summit will be instrumental in enhancing private sector investment across Africa’s oil and gas sector.
