Rogers Beall

Mr Beall is a 46-year veteran of the Upstream Oil sector.

He founded of Fortesa in 1997 and since early 2005 has acted as the Project Country Manager of Fortesa’s 125 employee onshore E&P project in Senegal, West Africa. Fortesa is currently Senegal’s only hydrocarbon producing company, and with drilling and pipeline divisions Africa Fortesa Corporation is a completely vertical Entity directly performing all functions needed to cost effectively conduct onshore E&P in Senegal. Fortesa’s Senegalese project was commenced as a high domestic content Gas-to-Power project, and remains true to the principle of Senegalese domestic capability in all elements of oilfield operations.

Focused initially in the American domestic seismic data licensing, acquisition, processing sectors, Mr Beall expanded the Company since 1990 into International GeoScientific projects and promotions in areas that ranged from the Caspian to West Africa to South America. Mr Beall then further by expanded into E&P itself in 1997 focused on the MSGBC Basin through AFRICA FORTESA Corporation, where Fortesa remains the MSGBC’s only producing, drilling and pipeline company, having now also made first recoveries of light Early Jurassic Lacustrine Sourced Oil in multiple wells. Mr. Beall holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Ohio’s Baldwin Wallace College and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) during his 4 years in public accounting starting (1969) with Arthur Andersen & Co. Prior to entering the Oil and Gas industry focusing on the scientific side, Mr. Beall held a key-man position for some years serving NASA’s Main Computer Center for Rocket testing and design (during the Apollo & SkyLab Programs) in Louisiana.
