Rachelle Yayi

Mrs. YAYI is a dedicated social activist, a devoted agent of change and an esteemed businesswoman. Rachelle Yayi began her career as an analyst with Morgan Stanley before pursuing her career as an auditor with Ernst & Young LLP. After cumulating a decade of experience in IT auditing and compliance with multinational companies in various sectors (Citibank, Canon, Fujitsu, Agropur, etc.), Rachelle YAYI returned to Benin to devote herself to the development of her home country in 2012 and launched Afara Solutions.

From 2013 to 2016, Rachelle worked as a special assistant and advisor to the former President of the Republic of Benin, H.E. Boni YAYI. During her time in the President’s cabinet, Rachelle focused on the political communication on social media as well as identifying and securing opportunities to accomplish the President’s vision, mission and strategic agenda. She handled special and sensitive projects as assigned by the President and worked closely with him in support of issues like women and youth empowerment in Benin and across Africa.
