John Ngunjiri

Prior to joining the firm, John worked for a global energy company as a projects contracting intelligence lead.

With over 19 years as a projects management professional in the engineering, energy and environmental space in various capacities and countries, John combines a solid blend of skills, experiences and knowledge in capital projects. His education, training and experiences range from projects management, costs and schedule estimating and controls, execution planning, contracts and risk distribution negotiations, contracts development and administration, projects financing, design development, engineering management, procurement and materials management, construction and commissioning, document controls, and construction safety, health, environment and security.

John worked full-time as a projects professional for a global energy company while attending law school at the University of Houston Law Center. He was a recipient of numerous scholarships, on the Dean’s List and held leadership positions in various organizations – both at the Law Center and externally. On graduation day, John was recognized by the UHLC Faculty with the 2022 Distinguished Service Award for his dedication and contributions to the UHLC students activities and community service.
