With 21 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Adelaar Energy Limited CEO, Grace Orife, has joined the African Energy Chamber (AEC) as its latest Board Member. A seasoned Energy Economist and Strategist with over 21 years of cross-functional experience – of which 19 years was served in the Oil and Gas Industry – Orife brings her invaluable insight, experience, and expertise to the AEC.

Grace a commencé sa carrière dans le conseil chez Price Water CooperHouse (PWC), avant de rejoindre la Shell Exploration and Production Company au Cameroun, puis la Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) au Nigeria. Après Shell, elle a travaillé chez Addax Petroleum Development Company et Eroton Exploration and Production Company Limited, où elle a occupé des postes de responsable de la planification, de l'économie et de la stratégie de l'entreprise.

Grace est actuellement PDG d'Adelaar Energy, une société d'exploration et de production d'énergie à part entière qui opère dans les domaines de l'ingénierie, de l'approvisionnement, du conseil et des services.

Grace a suivi une formation bien équilibrée qui a débuté à l'université de Buea, au Cameroun, avec une licence en comptabilité. Elle a suivi le programme MBA de la Warwick Business School au Royaume-Uni et poursuit actuellement son doctorat à l'École internationale de management à Paris, en France.

She is an active member of several industry groups and societies including Women in Energy Nigeria, SPE Nigeria. She is currently on the SPE Africa Advisory Council.

Grace is also a fitness enthusiast with a passion for Formula One racing.
