Founder of Energy For Generation Africa e4gAfrica an NGO think tank advocacy for a just and inclusive energy transition, promoting practical, effective, efficient and balance circular carbon economy strategic solution to the African 3E energy trilemma. He is the team lead for Team Energy Africa a novel initiative powered by United Nations Economic Commission for Africa UNECA, Sustainable Energy For All SE4All and African Energy Chamber AEC to catalytically accelerate the SDG 7 agenda from concept to commission in UNECA member states.

Abdur is a strategic and unconventional energy disruptive technologies and solutions provider with broad expertise in entire full stream of energy spectra; oil, gas, water, power and new energy. Abdur career in the industry span over twenty five years in four continents and eight countries. Having held several senior management positions in Schlumberger and Weatherford while delivering innovative solutions for top global IOC and NOC energy companies such as Saudi Aramco, Kuwait Oil Company, Exxon, Chevron to mention a few. He currently sits on the board of several Nigerian independent and indigenous oil and gas operating companies. He is lifelong advocate of diversity and inclusion in local content development, knowledge transfer, capacity building and women active participation in energy business. He is the pioneer and leader of the first all indigenous executed deep water exploration / appraisal operations in Africa – Nigeria and Angola
