Job Requirements:

An opportunity to join Woodside on a 2-year fixed term contract initially with the opportunity for a long-term position eventually.

Key Responsibilites:

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insight into the Oil & Energy sector as a Logistics Coordinator working at our supply base. The role is responsible for strategically planning freight movements with optimum utilisation to compliment work schedules and cost efficiency. You will work closely with the logistics teams to ensure all required equipment is available on time, planning out future works with collaboration of the drilling team you’ll ensure their equipment is available on time, in addition the role will prepare accurate reports of current inventory & future inventory/material requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisation skills with experience working under pressure in a logistics role with a focus on materials/equipment movement. The role will work closely with the Supply Base Supervisor, Regional Logistics Manager in addition to the drilling, marine & materials representatives.

Desired Expertise and Skills:

Excellence in planning, communication, setting high standards, discipline, integrity, respect and teamwork.
• Excellent understanding of Drilling and Completion logistics offshore and onshore
• Strong knowledge of drilling processes and equipment.
• Thorough understanding of logistics support for drilling, completions and subsea operations including aviation, marine and land transportation.
• International logistics and freight forwarding experience.
• Strong focus on cost efficiency and inventory control.
• Capable of managing teams of sub-contractors in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• High level of computer skills in Microsoft Office and database applications
• Excellence in inter-personal and communication skills developing strong working relationships.
• Able to work in multicultural environment, sensitive to cultural differences.
• Reliability under pressure, delivering safe and efficient results in a range of conditions which are often challenging. While always having a high understanding of the need for a commitment to safety.
